The former office building at 10 Via Alserio, Milan was designed by Melchiorre Bega in the late 1960s and lay unused for a number of years before it was reclaimed for a new purpose. In 2021, the building was divided into around 70 luxury flats designed by Asti Architetti. They retained the classic curved façades, enhanced with floor-to-ceiling windows, natural materials and wood panelling. This redevelopment is just one of many changes in Milan's Isola neighbourhood as it undergoes a remarkable transformation, following in the footsteps of Porta Nuova, which saw a positive knock-on effect across the residential market in the surrounding areas.
